List of all permissions for folders (Inherited & Explicit)
This report lists the permissions (explicit and inherit) assigned to the users for a set of folders.
Click on
button under Built-in Reports.
Select the report to be generated. Only one report can be generated at a time.
Step 2: Configure server or shared folder-list:
To configure servers or shared folders, click
Click here to add servers
or shared folders link.

NTFS Security Auditor defaults to scanning all the sub-folders under a given shared folder.
If you want to change the folder traversal and folder level options, click Edit…
link available against each entry. |

Click OK to proceed. |

Folders that have identical permissions as the parent
folder would show up with "Same as parent" in User Name and/or Security fields in
the report. However, if you do not want folders with identical permissions as the
parent folder reported, then select Do not display folders that have same permissions
as the parent folder option. This option will not report folders with identical
permissions as the parent folder. |

If you want to exclude specific accounts from
reporting, select Exclude Accounts option. Click Accounts... button
to launch Exclude Accounts window, as shown below: |

Select the accounts for which you want to exclude and click OK. |
| Click Finish to generate the selected report. |

After the data collection process is complete, the report would
be generated in a report window as shown below:
