How to Get Log Analysis Reports on FTP Sites ?


 

Click on button Or Select Log Analysis Reports from the Report menu. 

The Connect to IIS Server dialog box will appear.

   
 

Enter a server name in the textbox.
or
Select a server from the Favorites dropdown. This dropdown will contain the list of web servers available in the Favorite Web Servers list.
or
Click  button to browse for computers running IIS. This operation may take some time depending on the size of the domain.

Click 

The report window will be launched after the server validation.
 

Select and expand the FTP Sites in the left pane of the newly launched report window, and then click on child node.

The following Select Dates dialog box will appear on the screen. It is used to select the 'Start date' and 'End date' to parse the logfiles.


If you want to change the date you can do it manually by selecting the drop down combo box. You can also do it by clicking   which will show you the following window:



Select the log files from which you want to processed.

Click . The Start date and End date will be assigned based on the selected log file dates.

 
After completing the above steps. Click  on the Select Dates dialog to collect data.

The report would be displayed as shown below:


 

Raw Data:

It is an actual content that is stored in IIS log file.

If you want to view the raw data of the currently selected items, click  . The raw data would be displayed as shown below:

Tab details:

Click to view details about total number of hits across all web Sites. This report displays the following information: {FTP site name, Identifier, No of Hits}.
 

Click to view details about log file information based on Hits by month. This report displays the following information: {FTP site name, Months, URL, No of Hits}.
 

Click to view details about log file information based on Hits by Hour. This report displays the following information: {FTP site name, Hours, URL, No of Hits}.
 

Click to view details about log file information based on Hits by day of week. This report displays the following information: {FTP site name, Day Of Week, URL, No of Hits}.
 

Click to view details about log file information based on Hits by status. This report displays the following information: {FTP site name, Status, URL, Status Code, No of Hits}.
