How to Generate Comparison Reports?
Click on button.

Or Select Comparison Reports from the Report menu.


      
 
The Comparison Reports wizard will be loaded as shown below.
 
Step 1: 

Select any one of the comparison options. Click Next to proceed.


 

Step 2:

This step shows the options to connect to a baseline server OR import a previously exported server database. Click here to see how to export server database for comparison.


 
Select any one of the options. Click Next to proceed.
 

Step 3:

This step shows the list of web sites or virtual directories (based on the option selected in the previous step). Select any one item from the list. The selected item will be considered as the Baseline (Reference) web site or virtual directory.


 
 
Note: If you want to add another server, click button and select or specify a server with the help of 'Connect to IIS Server' dialog box.

Click Next to proceed.
 

Step 4:

This step shows the options to connect to a live IIS server OR import a previously exported server database, to compare with the baseline reference. Click here to see how to export server database for comparison.


 
Select any one of the options. Click Next to proceed.
 
Step 5:

This step shows the list of websites or virtual directories that you can choose to compare against the baseline (reference) website or virtual directory. You can add multiple servers with the help of Add Servers button. Click Next to proceed.
 

 
Step 6:

This step shows the list of configuration reports that you can select to perform the comparison. Select one or more reports. Click Next to proceed.
 

 

Step 7:

This step shows the summary information of the report settings. You can review the report settings specified in the previous steps. If you need to change any of the settings, click Back.

Click Finish to generate the report.  


 
During the report generation, the data collection status dialog will be displayed as shown below:

 
After successful completion of this process, the report window will be displayed as shown below:
